Hi guys! So its nearly Halloween and I don't know where this month has gone at all, I thought it would have been such a long month but obviously not. I watch a lot of videos of Make Up Artists on YouTube and with it being Halloween I find the videos a lot more interesting than your every day glam look. I have a few YouTube favourites but I have only recreated 2 of them looks and a male styled one also.
My first YouTuber is Nicole Guerriero she is my favourtie Youtuber, she does most incredible Halloween tutorials as well. (These video pictures aren't mine, just a screenshot I took.)

Above are two of her looks she has created the first one is Makeup Forever Inspiration Body Paint, I think it is amazing and super pretty with all the glitter and colours. The image next to is it is the look I created called Demented Fortune Teller I love how its not your every day classic Halloween look that every body creates, it might look mad but the glitter gold lips make it look super amazing and I adore them!
Below are the images of my recreated look of this the beginning images being a first step and the next the final look. I wasn't even going to create the same symbol as Nicole but when I started doing it I messed up and had to change shape haha.

I added gold eye shadow to my brows, even though Nicole Guerriero has dark ones I thought this made the Fortune Teller look more mad and outstanding. I wanted my face to look very dark and dirty so I added a lot of dark grey and maroon eye shadows around the face as she doesn't need to look all clean it makes the look like she has been rubbing dirt on her while doing her fortune readings or even just being generally dirty or strange. I really loved doing this the only thing I would have changed is adding more dark maroon/brown eye shadows over the dark veins under the eyes, I did have red lines under as well but they aren't very noticeable.
My next YouTube love I found is Chrisspy, I have seen a lot of people recreating this look so I guess a lot are doing it this Halloween but it is the Gangster Clown Halloween Tutorial - CHRISSPY, It looks so simple but it was so time consuming and difficult with the black lines. (These video pictures aren't mine, just a screenshot I took.) I know this look isn't very scary but everyone doesn't go scary for Halloween, I find this look more artistic than your average blood scabby face. (But that's just me.)
Below are two images I took outside with a wooden shed background look I think this makes the image have more character to it as it is a clown and I just thought the effect it had made it more weird. I curly my hair using a Lee Stafford Chopstick styler as I makes the clown are really big curly hair but when I create this look again I think I am just going to use a normal wand curler to give me curly waves.
The most difficult part of this look was the lines going up and down the face, I thought that the diamonds or around the cheek lines would have been harder but with the different face shape every one has and the lines under your eyes makes it harder to make a symmetrical look, I found the diamonds probably the easiest part of this look haha, I love them I think they look super cool but cute.
When I create this looks again for Halloween I would add some big gold hoops, gold grill, black bandana and a tear drop under the eye to create a more gangster effect. I was wanting to put gold in my brows like the Demented Fortune Teller look but was unsure of have this would look all together, what do you think? I think I might just add a bit to them.

I couldn't just pick one image to include so if you hover over the side image there are more below or just click play to start the slide show.
The last look I created is the male one for the Gangster Halloween look, I did this on my boyfriend as we will be both using this look on Saturday night when we go watch Skepta at the 02 Arena. The images below of him (how gorgeous and them blue eyes!) I started by doing the up and down lines to thick and forgot about the diamonds but then I thought this was more of a male clown it suits it more, same with the nose I wanted to do a skull nose as it look more evil and is a different style to the female's to look a unique way plus I love the skull nose!
The mouth I am not to fond of as I wanted to do a gangster smile with gold teeth but the smile I pictured in my mind didn't come out the way I hoped so this is the part I really dislike and will change but I guess it is a clown smile.

Now to show you some of the basic products I used for this mainly the shadows and liner side. Below is this very old GOSH eye shadow palette I have had for yonks when it was on sale for discount and has always come in handy I have used this for the eye blending, dark contour on the Demented Fortune Teller and going over the black lines to make them darker.
Just some simple black liners such as MAC Gel Fluidline which costs £17, a Gosh black pencil which is amazing how dark the lines make and stay on, I used different liquid liners such as Collection Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner I love this one as its thick but going very thin on the end to get that sharp pointy end this costs £2.99, another was the MAC Black Boot liquid liner which costs £16 I use this liner a lot but I don't think the point on the end is very long or sharp enough to create a good flick. I really wanna try the NYC liner every one uses. The three eye shadows are what I used |
for the Demented Fortune Tellers under eyes and all around the face the maroon red colour was really good under the eyes to create a very dark sore eye area I would say to anyone this colour is really good to create a dead look under the eyes, these was just from a boots box ages ago.
Below that is the Lime Crime Velvetines in Wicked which is a deep red, I used this on all of looks on the lip area. I love these matte lipsticks but find it very difficult to apply neat, don't know if any one else has this problem? but its annoying!

And finally some eye shadows, I used the MAC Cinderella glitter on top of the Lime Crime Lipstick as when it was wet it was easy to apply and keep the glitter on and blended well. The Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR eye shadow in 05-Eternal Gold is lovely I used this in my eye brows and on my lid for the Gangster Clown I thought that this would crease and loose colour but I left it on all night and the results was shocking how good it was, these are £4.99 and would recommend.
I didn't use this Models own Palette but when I do my make up again on Saturday I think it will come in handy. Anyway I didnt think this post was even gonna be long never mind how long I have going on about blah! but Thank you for reading, please share and give me any feed back thanks!
