Hi Guys! Not had much to blog about in a while but I really wanted to create the look I was talking about in my previous post that Nicole Guerriero uploaded a while ago. The Make Up Forever body paint, I think it might be a Halloween look but when she created it I didn't think she did it mainly for that reason. Below are the images from her YouTube, with the look she created, I followed most of the steps, i just changed them with the products and style she used. (These video pictures aren't mine, just a screenshot I took).
Below are the images from Make Up Forever's Instagram what they created on dancers to dance around Debenhams in Oxford Street! I love this brand and how every thing they create is so colourful and stands out. I think these are absolutely fantastic, they would have used their amazing, "12 Flash colour case - 900", this costs around $99/£65. Also the 902 palette is more plain nude colours which would work very well to create a thick eye shadow look. I really need to invest in the "Ultra HD Foundation", from this brand to as a lot of people use it, and have always been giving good reviews about it! (These images aren't mine they are from the original, Make Up Forever Instagram).
I created this yesterday on Bonfire night 5th November 2015. I didn't think it would workout due to not having any cream colours or body paints to do this with, but I had a really dark rainy day off and was super excited to try it out, plus it brightened up my day haha. I really wanted to do it yesterday also because I thought it reminded me of fireworks, colourful glittery and a dark night on the side. My Auntie said it looked like a Caribbean sea? which I really liked the thought of that so we could go with that to!
I think I look a right man in the above image, very unsure why haha. This is a step before I finished and I wish I created more step by step images but at the time I was to into getting it done. I really enjoyed doing this it was some how satisfying to see all the colours blending together to and mixing from different shades. I love the green colour I didn't think it came out as green as I thought due to doing this in not very good lighting at all which does my head in, need a better light bulb I think! or preferably a ring light of some sort.
I needed a bit more purple next to that pink on the cheek to blend with the blue to change colour but didn't notice that and once it was on it was hard to change around any of the colours.

I used glitter glue for the side of my face to run down, I was originally going to do it all over, then I realised it would finish the look of with the glitter running all the way down. I didn't cover my whole neck and body because the colours didn't work out very well together, as I only had a small applicator to put it on with so it would of taken me so much longer to complete! I also applied loose glitter all over this look, and it came out in a big blotch, the worst place this happened is where the pink is on the cheek, so the one thing i would change would be to take it off and re apply it again.
I really love my winged liner on one side, I was panicking when applying this in case I ruined it, but the first time worked out really well, I am sure every girl knows how this feels! I think the Ombre in my hair gives these photos an effect for the whole overall image.

For this whole process I was using the 'Real Technique Bold Metals Collections', 200 Oval Shadow brush! I never really realised before, how much this brush picks up and packs on products and also blends at the same time, I mainly used this brush and a very old cheap eye shadow brush, just because I didn't want to mix too many colours on one, due to the bright colours not coming out right. I have washed this brush after and the colour has come out fine! The colours stained the tip of the brush which is a bit disappointing for the price you have to pay for it. I also have another 201 brush which i used, and it has done the same exact same thing.
These are all the eye shadow colours I used to create this look, I didn't have any cream colours so my look came out very shimmery and glittery, (which I love) as well as a matte look like the original. The first palette is very old (as you can tell by the look of it) Accessorize shadows, this has always been a great pallet to use in anything I have done, and I really love it! The last one is the Revolution EYES LIKE ANGELS Palette, which costs £8. I really love this brand, they are AMAZING, I have 2 of them and want more! These are very good products, for the price you pay to get 32 shades!
Previous products that I used in my last post, the MAC Cinderella glitter, MAC Gel eyeliner, Collection extreme felt tip and the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24HR. I used the glitter all over my face, which the colour in it made a patch of colour in the pink, the tattoo eye shadow on my lips and eye liners was all the black. I have no black face paint which was difficult as I ended up using an eye shadow brush and painting my self in black gel liner, which took ages, but got the job done haha. See previous post for all details and reviews on these items and original names.
And finally the glitter glue I used down the side of my face was from Wilko, a 6 pack of glitters in different colours which cost £1.00. I really wish I had the other colours to mix in with the gold now, but I couldn't find them. This would have made it look way more colourful like the original, (but I liked my own gold look to this). Maybe if you wanted you could add some highlight to it to make it more popping? just an idea for you!
I've said it before but these posts some how get extremely long oh well.. thank you for
